Family Update

September was quite a month. We celebrated our marriage anniversary on the 1st. Ernest celebrated his birthday on the 14th. Ivanna celebrated her birthday on the 23rd. Theo celebrated his birthday on the 24th. We threw them both a party on Saturday the 27th of September 2025. God has been very good to us. We are concluding the 13th premarital class. We crossed the 1000 mark as far as training couples for marriage. All glory goes to God.

Deliverance for M: Wednesday 3rd September 2025

A woman by the name of M came for inner healing and restoration. We had had several sessions with M. In this session, we covered the negative patterns found in the family. We also addressed the negative belief systems that M held against God, herself, and others. We addressed them all through scripture. She left feeling relieved.

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Marriage Conference: Friday 5th September 2025

Waturi and I were invited by our church, Mamlaka Hill Chapel-Ruaka, to speak at their annual marriage conference. The theme of the conference was “He-mitators.” The topic we addressed was Sexual Intimacy in Marriage. The feedback was great! We had many husbands and wives approach us after the conference requesting additional help. The photo below is one where Waturi and I were part of a panel.

Deliverance for H: Tuesday 9th September 2025

A young woman by the name H came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second session. The first session had yielded great results in the life of H, and she was very positive. This second session was very fruitful. We addressed areas of idolatry, guilt, shame, regret, negative family patterns and ungodly beliefs. The session left her encouraged.

Couple Session with A & J: Tuesday 9th September 2025

I took a couple by the names A and J for inner healing and restoration. I had walked with the husband through a healing process. Their marriage had fallen apart as a result of the man’s careless living. We made headway in this session, and the wife also started her healing journey.

Deliverance for F: Wednesday 10th September 2025

I had an online session with a lady called F. This was our second session. F had been hopeful after the first session. She had seen some good changes in her life. This second session was equally powerful. She shed off negative thinking patterns that were not in line with the word of God. We ended the session, and F was grateful.

Couple Session with S & M: Wednesday 10th September 2025

A couple by the names S and M came for help. Their new marriage was suffering emotional coldness and vicious strife. We got to the root of the problem. The man had suffered physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse from his mother. The woman struggled to understand the man and often grew impatient. The revelations helped them come to a place of understanding. I gave them a new assignment. We are due for a second session.

CITAM Church Online: Thursday 11th September 2025

Christ Is The Answer Ministries invited me to speak on their online church platform. I was part of an interview based on the talk I gave at the Family Discipleship Conference in August. The topic was on marriage, millennials and the gender war. The recording is yet to come out.

Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road: Saturday 13th September 2025

Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road invited Waturi and I to speak in their third marriage seminar of the year. The theme was Power in Marriage. We had a wonderful time teaching practical lessons on love and submission in a marital setup. We are gearing up for their marriage retreat in October 2025.

Indian Couples Marriage Fellowship: Sunday 14th September 2025

Turi and I ministered to the Indian couples’ fellowship in Parklands. In this session, we covered the topic of forgiveness. What started as a light session ended up being a healing meeting with lots of tears and prayer. The couples were very grateful. I celebrated my birthday with them. We cut cake and they sang for me happy birthday. It was a day well spent.

Deliverance for F: Wednesday 17th September 2025

A lady by the name F came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third and final session. We covered areas of ungodly beliefs and stubbornness in her life. The session was cathartic for F. She was very pleased to have done the session.

Deliverance for M: Thursday 18th September 2025

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. This was our first session. M had suffered significant emotional abuse from her parents and siblings. She was carrying lots of bitterness and resentment. We processed the pain. She wept in the session. She felt very light after the session. We are due for another session.

Deliverance for V: Tuesday 23rd September 2025

A lady by the name V came for inner healing and restoration. This was our fourth session. In this session we covered the area of toxic relationships that lead to sin. V was very repentant where she fell short of God’s glory. The healing prayer strengthened V. We have covered the most problematic areas. We are due for another session.

Couple Session with J and M: Wednesday 24th September 2025

A couple by the name J and M came for a conflict resolution session. They had been married for less than five years but were filled with deep resentment and anger towards one another. We unpacked the root of the problems, and we engaged in a session of forgiveness. The couple humbled themselves, and their healing commenced. I gave them an assignment. I will check in on them later.

Deliverance for F: Thursday 25th September 2025

A lady by the name F came for inner healing and restoration. F was battling same-sex attraction. She had been abused by her parents in many ways- physically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. The first session involved forgiving her family members. She was so relieved after the session. We are due for another session.

Aga Khan University Hospital: Friday 26th September 2025

I was invited by Eunice Njeri Tole to speak to first-year doctors and nurses in the making at The Aga Khan University Hospital. I spoke to more than 100 students on healthy relationships and responsible sexuality. The students from various cultures, religions, and backgrounds listened attentively. The feedback was very positive.

Terry Kamata’s Fellowship: Friday 26th September 2025

Terry Kamata invited me to speak to a group of teenagers and young adults on the subject of dating. We had a great interactive session with the group. A lot of learning took place to prepare them to date and marry well.

Deliverance for P: Friday 26th September 2025

A lady by the name P came for inner healing and restoration. This was our first meeting. P had been having dreams where I had been appearing to her and helping her out with her life. Today’s session marked the fulfillment of those dreams. We covered the forgiveness list. She cried during the session as she surrendered to God. We are due for a second session.

TESTIMONY

We received several personal testimonies from our season 13 premarital class. They were very personal and we are unable to share them here. However, they range from forgiving parents to overcoming pride to confessing sexual sin and reconciliation with future in-laws who stymied wedding processes. We bless God for the healing!
