Family Update

The children are halfway through the second term of 2026. They have gone on their school trips. The Kenyan winter has started and we are warming ourselves up. We are reflecting on the year since we have covered more than half of it. We are grateful for God’s goodness to us so far! Turi celebrated her 37th birthday on the 23rd of June. We are so grateful for the person that she is to our family. We also celebrated Father’s Day. We are grateful for the Fatherhood of God and the extension of his character through the earthly fathers that He has given us. We are encouraged that more men are coming for inner healing and restoration.

Ruby Jewels Association: Monday 1st June 2026

Faith Ajema invited me to speak to a group of single women from her ministry, the Ruby Jewels Association. I took the ladies through an interactive session on choosing a life partner. The session was therapeutic for the ladies. We had a time of healing prayer at the end.

Deliverance for W: Tuesday 2nd June 2026

A lady from Europe by the name W went through the inner healing and restoration session. This was our second session. We held it via Zoom. The session was cathartic. We completed the assignment. W felt very relieved after the session. She connected me to her husband who is also in need of healing. I have started talking to him.

Deliverance for C: Thursday 3rd June 2026

A lady by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. We have had several sessions. We are approaching the end of the healing. In this session we addressed areas of negative family patterns. C is getting more confident in the LORD. She admitted that after this session, she finally felt relieved and at peace with God.

Powerhouse and Girl Power: 6th , 13th , 20th , 27th June 2026

We completed Powerhouse and Girl Power. The men and the women were very grateful. We had more than 100 students in each class. We are gearing to end the class with a hike to Mount Longonot on Saturday the 18 th of July 2026.

Deliverance for R: Tuesday 9th June 2026

A man by the name R came for inner healing and restoration. R had been here before. But he returned because he had some issues forgiving his family members. I reminded him of the work we did a few years back. I took him through the forgiveness path, and he followed through. He left feeling very revived.

Deliverance for M: Tuesday 9th June 2026

I held an online session on inner healing and restoration with a man called M. This was our second session with M. We had our first session last year. He had some challenges and slipped back into the world. He repented and decided to resume the healing sessions. We are due for another meeting.

Deliverance for C: Friday 12th June 2026

A man by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. C had gone through a breakup. It had affected his bearing in life. This break-up came in the middle of our healing sessions. He had calmed down and was ready to resume the sessions. We covered the areas of forgiveness in this meeting. We are due for a second one.

Raising Future Parents Conference: Saturday 13th June 2026

Raising Future Parents held their annual family conference. I was invited to teach two sessions. The first session was on Recovering God’s Heart for our Sexuality. I spoke from 1Thessalonians 4:1-5. The second session was an apologetics session with the teenagers. The conference was well planned, with guests coming from different parts of Africa. I was invited to Uganda and South Africa as a result of teaching at this conference.

CITAM Karen: Sunday 14th June 2026

Rev. Karita Mbagara, the senior pastor at CITAM Karen, invited me to speak at the church’s family month. I opened the series with a teaching from Judges chapter 17. Deliverance for N: Monday 15th June 2026

A lady called N came for her third session on inner healing and restoration. N has been progressing very well. There have been several temptations to fall back, but she has resisted and held her own. We covered areas of idolatry and transgression in this session. We are due for another session.

Deliverance for C: Tuesday 16th June 2026

A lady by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. C had undergone a lot of emotional and spiritual abuse from her parents. She had grown up in an environment of fear. The session was very emotional for her. She cried a lot as she forgave her parents. She was very relieved after we were done. We are due for another session.

Deliverance for B: Tuesday 16th June 2026

A young man by the name B came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third session. We covered sexual ties and toxic relationships. B was repentant. We had a great session. He is growing in his confidence in God’s love for him. We are due for another session.

World Vision: Wednesday 17th June 2026

World Vision invited me to conduct two sessions. The first session was their chapel session. I preached from Luke 15, on the parable of the prodigal son. The second session was on biblical masculinity. The second session was for men only. The interactions bore fruit, judging by the feedback.

Nairobi Chapel Karen: Wednesday 17th June 2026

Nairobi Chapel Karen invited me to conduct a parenting session on the impact of screens and pornography on children. The session went well. Parents from inside and outside the church attended the session. They did not record the session. There have been requests to do a second one.

Kings Revival Church International-Dubai: Thursday 18th June 2026

Kings Revival Church International (KRCI) in Dubai invited me to speak to their singles on the parable of the ten virgins. The session was held online. Several Kenyans from the Middle East were tuned in. The session went well. The church desires to invite Turi and I for a physical session in the future.

Deliverance for Z: Friday 19th June 2026

A lady by the name Z came for inner healing and restoration. Z had been struggling with bitterness from a spouse who had hurt her. She had strayed from the faith as a result of the pain in her marriage. She rededicated her life to Christ, and we started the work on forgiveness. The session overwhelmed her

Christian Couples Network at Trinity C Fellowship: Friday 19th June 2026

Pastor Kelvin Mungai and his wife, Peninah, run the Christian Couples Network. They also pastor Trinity C Fellowship in Ruiru. They invited us to speak at their annual dinner. The theme was mustard and black. We graced the occasion and had a great time with the couples.

Armoured Men’s Conference: Saturday 20th June 2026

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka held their annual men’s conference. The theme of the conference was The Juggling Act. I opened the conference with the first plenary. I spoke from Exodus 18. The recordings are not yet out. The conference was well planned and the feedback was amazing.

Indian Couples Fellowship: Sunday 21 st June 2026

Turi and I held our monthly Indian couples fellowship. This was our twelfth meeting. That means we have met consistently for one year. We will be celebrating the fellowship’s anniversary next month.

Deliverance for D: Tuesday 23rd June 2026

A man by the name D came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third and final session. We covered negative family patterns and belief systems in this final session. D was grateful for the sessions. His marriage was being restored after his wife had seen the changes. He wants his wife to go through the same sessions he has gone through.

Deliverance for J: Wednesday 24th June 2026

A man by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third and final session. We covered belief systems. J surrendered and prayed passionately while placing his faith in Jesus. He was relieved when we were done. The sessions have borne lots of fruit for him.

Deliverance for T: Thursday 25 th June 2026

A man by the name T came for innerhealing and restoration. This was our first session. T has been struugling with his personal purity. He had fallen off his faith and had been sucked into a world of perversion. We began the healing journey with forgiveness. It was cathartic for him. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for J: Thursday 25 th June 2026

A man by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. In this first session, we covered some forgiveness wounds. J had been spiritually and emotionally abused by his mother and his church. He had developed a disdain for the church and had gone into a dark work of sexual sin. The first session overwhelmed him. He cried a lot. He felt so relieved after the session. We are due for a second session.

Counselling for K: Monday 29th June 2026

A high school student by the name K came with his mother to see me. K had started watching pornography. He had been introduced to it by his friends. He had been addicted for the past one year, and he was very ashamed. I share with K my personal story of victory. I gave him my book, Holy Joe, for him to read. I plan to see him on the next holiday break.

Deliverance for C: Monday 29th June 2026

A lady by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. This was our final session after several meetings. We covered areas of ungodly beliefs and stubborn areas in her life. We finished the session with holy communion. C left feeling like a new person.

Deliverance for P & M: Tuesday 30th June 2026

A couple by the name P and M came for inner healing and restoration. The couple suspected that some spiritual oppression was present in their lives. We combed through the assignment and covered areas of forgiveness and sexual ties.It was very liberating for the couple. It was refreshing for them to do it together. We are due for a second meeting.

Hi Waturi, just wanted to say hello and that I attended the Logos Festival yesterday at church. It was amazing. I know sometimes when you are in the thick of thinking logistics and finances and etc you might not see it, but what you and Ernest are doing is powerful. My 5-year-old is reciting the commandments because of yesterday. I myself realized I really haven’t been reading the Old Testament and that has to change, it is just as important as the new testament. (Because explain to me how people knew there were other queens in the Bible other than Jezebel and Esther? I was so blank! And the goats on the Ark? Ah!) Hiyo mambo ya memorizing I will probably need to restart the Omega supplements, but challenge accepted. God bless you guys. Keep on keeping on no matter what. I will be praying for you.

Hi Ernest, it was nice bumping into you after the event. Immediately after the festival, what stood out was how fun and well planned it was. Today, that has passed and all I can think about is how passionately each activity and presentation seemed to shout”;Do you know this Word? Are you seeking this God who has revealed himself to us?! ” The memory verses from your kids and yourself were a reminder that we can (I can!) do so much more to engage with the God and his word.
