Family Update

September has come and gone. The children are back to school. Waturi and I celebrated 12 years of marriage. Ernest celebrated his 35th birthday on the 14th of September. Ivanna celebrated her sixth birthday on the 23rd of September. Theo celebrated his second birthday a day after Ivanna’s. God has truly been faithful to us. Deliverance for G: Tuesday 3rd September 2024

A woman by the name of G came for inner healing and restoration. We had started this journey last year but took a hiatus after G had trouble in her marriage. She also had a bout of depression. She resumed and we finished the journey. She was glad to do so and she felt significantly relieved.

Deliverance for J: Wednesday 4th September 2024

A young woman by the name of J came for inner healing and restoration. This was J’s design session.  We covered repentance from sexual sin and the severing of ties from the past. It was overwhelming for J since some of the ties involved people who had raped her. She was determined to go through with the journey. She prayed fervently and it gave her reprieve. We are planning for the third session.

Deliverance for M: Wednesday 4th September 2024

A woman by the name of M came for inner healing and restoration. M had suffered a divorce and was battling some pain and regret from some past decisions. She was keen to forgive and repent where necessary. We were able to complete the whole exercise in one sitting. She admitted to feeling lighter and was determined to set her life on a new course.

Premarital Class Season 11: Sunday 8-29th September 2024

We have held the premarital class season 11 every Sunday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The lessons have been informative and the class is very vibrant. The class on marriage and money seemed to be a favourite for many. We are looking forward to finishing strong.

Deliverance for C: Monday 9th September 2024

A woman by the name of C came for inner healing and restoration. This was the second session with C. She had been battling guilt and shame because of a checkered sinful past. She was very vulnerable in the session. She left feeling free.

Deliverance for N: Wednesday 11th September 2024

A young man by the name of N came for inner healing and restoration. N was struggling with a lot of bitterness. He had been bullied and insulted by family members. His parents were passive in the face of injustice and he had a lot of pain. He also carried guilt and shame from some things he had done in the past. The session was liberating for him. He felt light. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for Y: Thursday 19th September 2024

A young woman by the name of Y came for inner healing and restoration. Y was carrying a lot of bitterness from family members and friends who had rejected her. She was also carrying baggage from a few relationships that had sexual sin. She was very open and vulnerable. She prayed passionately and cried a few times. This was our first session. We are due for a second one. She left feeling lighter.

Speaking at Raising Future Parents family conference: Friday 20th September 2024

I was invited by Dr. Stanley Mukolwe to speak at a family conference planned by his ministry, Raising Future Parents. The conference attracted attendees from all over the world. On this day I was tasked to speak on new points of ministry in the African continent. I spoke of porn addiction and the need to help the church overcome this spiritual pandemic.

Speaking at Loiswell Academy: Friday 20th September 2024

Later that day I spoke to parents of Gen Alpha children at Loiswell Academy in Banana, Kiambu County. I was invited by the school directors, Wilson and Lois Mbugua. We had a great interactive session with the parents. Many parents took my number, requesting extra help.

Speaking to parents at International Christian Centre (ICC) Church: Saturday 21st September 2024

I spoke to parents at ICC on parenting and sexuality. This was the first of three sessions. In this session, we covered ways to introduce the message of sexuality to our children and how to avoid pitfalls that many parents make. The session was via Zoom. The feedback was very positive.

Speaking at Raising Future Parents family conference: Saturday 21st September 2024

I ministered to the conferees of this event for the second time. I taught Unmasking the Rainbow- dealing with LGBTQ in our community. I also spoke to teenagers on biblical sexuality.

Deliverance for J: Saturday 21st September 2024

That evening, we conducted a session of inner healing and restoration for a woman in North America called J. J had been having terrible sexually perverse dreams. She was also battling a past of sin that was weighing her down with guilt and shame. We managed to process the entire assignment on Zoom. J prayed passionately and humbly. After the session. She felt liberated.

Speaking at Africa Nazarene University: Tuesday 24th September 2024

I was invited by the chaplain of Africa Nazarene University, Rev. Charles Onyango, to speak in the Tuesday chapel service. Speaking at Moi University Main Campus: Thursday 26th September 2024

I was invited by the Christian Union of Moi University Main Campus to minister to the students. I spoke in two sessions. The first session was with the Christian Union leaders. It was on sexual purity and leadership. The second session was on healing from dysfunctional families with the entire CU. We had a great time of inner healing and prayer after the second session. Several students came to the front for repentance and forgiveness.

Deliverance for B: Friday 27th September 2024

A woman by the name of B came for inner healing and restoration. B was losing faith in God because of a lot of pain she had experienced. She was harboring a lot of pain from her parents and family members. She had also just gone through a break-up and was feeling distraught. She cried a lot during the session. She was resilient and prayed fervently. We completed the entire assignment. She confessed that she felt lighter after the session.

Speaking to parents at International Christian Centre (ICC) Church: Saturday 28th September 2024

I spoke to parents at ICC on parenting and sexuality. This was the second session. We talked about pornography and how to safeguard the home from this evil. We also addressed to help a child who is battling pornography. The parents were thrilled to know that they have all it takes to help their children.

Speaking to married couples at Trinity House International Church: Saturday 28th September 2024

Waturi and I spend the remainder of the day teaching married couples from Trinity House International. They organised a married couples conference at Flo Gardens Ruiru. It was a wonderful time of games and learning. We spoke about money in the money and sexual intimacy in the afternoon. The feedback from the couples was very encouraging.

We are about to start another season of Powerhouse and Girl Power. I decided to rewrite my book Lust and the City. I did this to have an updated edition. However, I ended up rewriting whole chapters and adding eight new ones. So the material became a whole new book. We called it The Passionate Pursuit of Purity. We will be using it in the upcoming season.
