Family Update

We celebrated our 10-year marriage anniversary on the 1st of September. We went to Voyager Beach Resort hotel in Mombasa for two nights. We went with the girls. We wanted them to experience a holiday before Baby Theo arrives. Ernest celebrated his 33rd birthday on 14th September. Ivanna celebrated her 4th birthday on 23rd September. Waturi was set to attend her graduation on Saturday the 24th of September 2022 from United States International University – USIU with an Executive Master of Science in Organizational Development (EMOD). However, she had to attend the graduation in absentia. On the morning of the graduation, her water broke. We were taken by surprise because we were not expecting the baby until a month from that time. I rushed her to hospital.

• Wanyangu- after his late paternal great grandfather
• Wamboye- His surname

Since he was born preterm, he had to be in the intensive care unit. After seven days of fighting breathlessness, heart problems, sugar deficiencies, low blood counts, jaundice and a myriad of other issues, baby Theo was being discharged from Nairobi Hospital today!  All his issues were resolved. We are so grateful! Our hearts are filled with joy. Theo’s final bill of 730,000 KES stands at 00.00/=. All cleared! Our family and friends have supported us prayerfully, financially, emotionally and spiritually.

Ten-year anniversary – Thursday 1st September 2022

To mark our ten-year marriage anniversary, we wrote an article on ten things we would say to each other as we entered marriage a decade ago. I wrote ten things for the husbands. Waturi wrote ten things for the wives. We then jointly wrote ten things for married couples. Deliverance for I – Wednesday 7th September 2022

A young man by the name I came for inner healing and restoration. I had been bullied and sexually molested by some men. He also had a tough relationship with his father. He was battling bitterness and unforgiveness. All that was coupled with sexual sin. He was very vulnerable and contrite during the session. We talked through the various areas of healing and prayed through them. The young man felt a huge burden leave him as he confessed and prayed. He sent me this message on SMS: Hello sir. I now fill I am so alive. I feel lighter. I feel confident like never before. God bless you for the ministration. I am blessed to have had a session with you.

Hope FM Interview – Thursday 8th and 15th September 2022

Oasis International Publishers planned for me to have two interviews with Hope FM. The interviews were based on my book Baesics. I had a great show with the evening show host, Karis. We marketed the book Baesics and preached the word on living a sexually pure life in a perverse generation,

Gatumaini Primary School – Friday 9th September 2022

My friend, Paul Dalizu invited me to speak to the class 8 students of Gatumaini Primary School in Thika Town on the subject of sexual purity. The school had noticed that the young boys and girls were very curious and knowledgeable about some aspects of their sexuality. They brought in Paul Dalizu and his team of mentors to inspire the children and given them a good foundation of teaching.

Kabete National Polytechnic – Sunday 11th September 2022

Kabete National Polytechnic Christian Union invited me to preach in their Sunday service. The subject was sexual purity. I preached from 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8.

AIC Milimani – Sunday 11th September 2022

On the afternoon of this Sunday, I was invited by Pastor Emmanuel Kipkemboi to speak to parents of tennagers at African Inland Church, Milimani. We looked at Judges chapter 17 and its relation to the family. Here is the recording of the session: https://youtu.be/WMcrKDWbQGY

Deliverance for M – Friday 16th September 2022

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had been introduced to pornography out of curiosity. She battled this as an addiction coupled with masturbation. She was struggling to be free but had not found a place to be vulnerable. We have her the inner healing assignment and she completed it. We had a great session of prayer. By the grace of God she left with a new lease in her life and a commitment to draw strength from the scriptures.

PCEA Thika Town Parish – Friday 16th September 2022

Pastor Pauline Lahel and Elder John Maina from PCEA Thika Town Parish invited me to their premier youth evening event. The topic was healthy relationships with the opposite sex. The youth dressed up and showed up in numbers. We had a great interactive time with the youth. I preached from Genesis 2:15-18.

Deliverance for N – Tuesday 20th September 2022

A lady by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. N had been inducted into some occultic practices. She was also battling with sexual sin. She had gone through several frustrations in her friendships and relationships and was nursing many wounds of bitterness and resentment. I gave her the assignment on inner healing and restoration. She took a very long time to complete it. When she was done, we met. She felt dark presences leave her head as we prayed. A huge feeling of relief came over her after the session was done.

Deliverance for W – Tuesday 20th September 2022

A lady by the name W came for inner healing and restoration. W had been serving in a church where the “pastor” was practising witchcraft. The imposter had also made many sexual advances towards her and had succeeded to abuse her in many ways. W was desperate for restoration. She left the church but felt a strong hold on her. Her friend had attended a deliverance session with us. The friend told her about me and she decided to come for the session. She completed the assignment in record time and we met at my office. We looked at the scriptures and prayed through each part. As we prayed, W let out several cries as she felt buckets of filth leave her body. She saw a couple of visions during the session. When the session was done, she saw a vision from the LORD with the words “TOTAL FREEDOM.” W admitted to feeling very light and said for the first time, the hold she felt disappeared.

Deliverance for E – Friday 23rd September 2022

A lady by the name E came for inner healing and restoration. E was having a troublesome marriage and had lots of personal baggage. She was also battling a tough history of several people who had taken advantage of her sexually. We took her through the session. The LORD opened her eyes and she saw several visions that spoke of her freedom. When the session was complete, she experienced an intense feeling of joy and lightness.

Deliverance for A – Monday 26th September 2022

A gentleman by the name A came for inner healing and restoration. A was having a hard marriage and was harbouring a lot of resentment and bitterness. He had come from a family where witchcraft and sorcery were practised. During the session, the LORD showed him several visions including a host of angels protecting us as we prayed. A experienced peace after the session and was eager to start life on a new note.
