Baby Theo is doing well. We recently went for a few tests to determine his progress. We are awaiting the results. Waturi has been having intense stomach pains. We went for an ultrasound and they found very many gallstones in her gall bladder. She requires surgery. The doctors do not want to subject her to another surgery treatment yet she just came from another surgery. She was given strong painkillers to buy her time. We will probably go for surgery before the year ends. Please keep us in your prayers.
Wamboye’s
The health of my family members has limited my ministry productivity this month. I have cancelled and postponed many sessions so that I can serve my family. Be that as it may, I have been able to minister to some people.
Endangered Warrior Series – Saturday 1st October 2022
Wanjiku Manyara invited me to speak in a series titled The Endagered Warrior Series (TEWS). TEWS is a program that focuses on mental health issues among men. I shared on the impact of pornography on the sexual and mental health of men. We had a great session. TEWS ended the series with a walk in Nairobi City.
Premarital Class – Sunday 2nd – 30th October 2022
We covered a bulk of the premarital class season 6 on Sunday evenings. This particular class has been energetic and engaging. We complete the class on the first week of November.
Powerhouse – Saturday 1st – 29th October 2022
We also covered a bulk of the Powerhouse curriculum during this month. This is the 16th season. The men have been committed. We complete the class on 5th November and go hike Mt. Longonot on 12th November.
High Impact Church Seminar – 12th October 2022
I was invited by my good friend, Pastor Patrick Kuchio to a conference by Living on the Edge. Living on the Edge is a parachurch organisation by Chip Ingram that helps strengthen pastors and Christian leaders so that they may be equipped to serve well. The event was dubbed High Impact Church seminar. Living on the Edge partnered with The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya and offered us a one-day training. The session was great with several pastors from all around the country in attendance. We were equipped on how to transform ourselves spiritually so that the impact in our ministries has a greater footprint for the Gospel.
Deliverance for M – Saturday 15th October 2022
A young lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had been actively serving in the church but was not born again. When we first had our conversation on the phone, I shared the gospel with her and asked her to think about it. She did. She repented of her sin and received Christ as Lord. I led her to Christ over the phone. She was undergoing several personal problems that were rooted in strongholds of the mind. I gave her the inner healing exercise. She completed it in record time and travelled all the way from Nakuru to have the session with me. We addressed the issues according to the wisdom of the scriptures and we prayed. She was relieved to have come into the kingdom and made that personal progress in her life.
Joyce’ Family Prayer meeting – Saturday 22nd October 2022
A lady by the name Joyce invited me to minister to her extended family. The meeting was set and member of the family gathered in their ancestral home. I preached from Judges 17, highlighting the moral breakdown of the family and the remedy that came through the Gospel. We had a session on personal reflection, penitence and repentance. The family was spiritually refreshed and was most grateful for the ministry of The Relationship Centre.
Deliverance for S – Friday 28th October 2022
A lady by the name S came for inner healing and restoration. S had been summoned by her grandmother. She went to see her and was shocked to learn that her grandmother was planning to initiate her into a coven of witches. The grandmother was very forthright with this information. She told S that it was her birthright to take over the craft of divination and sorcery from her. S said she was a Christian refused and her grandmother was livid. She cursed S and told her she would regret her decision. Since then S had been suffering several demonic attacks. She would hear voices taunting her. She would collapse and experience frightening supernatural encounters. She came for the healing session and we prayed for her. She was delivered in a very dramatic fashion and left freed by the Lord.
