Family Update

The family is doing well. Thandiwe graduated from PP2 to Grade 1. Theo is now 10 weeks old and has gained good weight. We are excited for the festive season.

The health of my family members has limited my ministry productivity this month. I have cancelled and postponed many sessions so that I can serve my family. Be that as it may, I have been able to minister to some people.

KAG Parklands Christ Centre – Saturday 29th October 2022

I was invited to Kenya Assemblies of God Parklands Christ Centre for an afternoon of ministry. I met the youth of the church. We had a great time of worshiping the LORD and talking about preparation for marriage. We had a round-table discussion and I concluded with a teaching from Genesis 2:15-18.

Premarital Class – Sunday 30th October – 6th November 2022

We concluded the sixth season of the premarital class. This was the final season for the year 2022. The class was very vibrant. We enjoyed the 8 weeks of teaching. We look forward to starting the next class in January 2023.

Powerhouse – Saturday 29th October – 5th November 2022

We concluded the 16th season of Powerhouse. This was the final season for the year 2022. We will be taking a hiatus. We will resume Powerhouse in February 2023.

Rusinga School – 1st November 2022

Rusinga School invited me to speak to Year-7 parents on the effect of sexually explicit content on 12–13-year-old children. We had a great discussion on the realities of the pressures that children today are facing. We also discussed the repercussions that children are more likely to face in the long term if healthy interventions are not made. We finally talked about the solutions that we ought to employ to save the next generation.

Wisdom and Wholeness with Harriet Dodea- 2 nd November 2022

Deliverance for J – 3rd November 2022

A young woman by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. J had suffered intense rejection from both her parents. She had been raped by her stepfather and was battling with a broken relationship with the father of her child. J’s mother was deeply, actively and willingly involved in practising witchcraft. This resulted in a family that was further broken and almost beyond hope. J did the inner healing and restoration assignment. She cried a lot during the session. She forgave from her heart and repeated of her sons and shortcomings. At the end of the session, J saw a vision of a bright light pushing away a wave of darkness and felt a tremendous peace.

Deliverance for A – 11th November 2022

A gentlemen by the name A came for inner healing and restoration. A was carrying a lot of wounds from his parents. He was also carrying a lot of guilt from past sinful acts. He was struggling with guilt, shame and regret. We had a terrific prayer session. When he got home, he asserted that he felt light, as if a burden had left him.

Powerhouse Longonot Excursion – 12th November 2022

We completed Powerhouse Season 16 with a hike on Mount Longonot. A small number made it this time. We only had nine men. We took a total of six and a half hours to ascend, encircle the caldera and descend. We had a great time.

Nairobi Chapel Ngong Hills – 13th November 2022

24/7 Manhood Experience – 19th November 2022

Pastor Julius Ndivo put together an event called the 24/7 Manhood Experience. He invited several men leading male-focused ministries to empower the attendees through the scriptures and to point them in the right direction should they need help from those ministries. I was invited to speak on masculinity and sexuality. I preached from Genesis 39. It was a wonderful time. The event was held on the same day we celebrate International Men’s Day.

The Endangered Warrior Series: The Woman Factor – 19th November 2022

Wanjiku Manyara of Kimbilio invited me to speak in their grand finale event on mental health awareness for men. I spoke on the subject The Woman Factor. We had a great time discussing the things that bring about mental illness in man-woman relationships. In this finale, we had every man bring a woman to the event. Some brought their wives, some their girlfriends while others brought family and friends. The finale ended with an award ceremony for those that attended the various sessions that Kimbilio had held.

Technical University of Mombasa – 20th November 2022

I was invited to preach on Dating God’s Way at Technical University of Mombasa by the Christian Union. I spent the weekend at the coast and ministered to the students in their two Sunday services from Genesis 2:15-24.

Deliverance for J – 22nd November 2022

A gentlemen by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. J was carrying a lot of wounds from his relationships with family and friends. He was also carrying a lot of guilt, shame and regret from his past. The weight of these things was leading him down a path of mental illness and depression. J contacted us just in time. He completed the assignment and submitted himself fully to the healing process. He left the session feeling very relieved and revived for life.

Redeemed Gospel Church Ruiru – 28th November 2022 – 2nd December 2022

Redeemed Gospel Church Ruiru invited me to speak at their annual youth camp. The camp was held at the south coast in Ukunda Town. I traveled down with three of my disciples; Edwin, Jojo and Gladys. We spend the week ministering on three main topics: understanding salvation, spiritual disciplines in the word of God and healthy relationships. We had a few people give their lives to Christ. We had a healing session on Thursday and many people left delivered from bitterness and resentment. On our way back, we passed by Watamu to say hi to a friend and person I have been discipling. Her name is Anna Dawson.
