Family Update

The girls are back in school. We had a wonderful celebration of culture in their school titled Heritage Day. We are approaching the halfway point in the year. We are healthy and God has been kind to us as a family.

Deliverance for M: Friday 2nd May 2025

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M has been battling a lot of unforgiveness. We have had several meetings with her and we are still forgiving the people on the list. Her list has had more than 70 people so far. They have been deep hurts and she is doing a great job talking about them and processing them. She has progressively been improving and the sessions are getting easier for her.

Married Couples Seminar: Saturday 3rd May 2025

Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road invited us to continue with the series on Money, Sex and Power. This day’s focus was on money. We had a full house with couples of different ages joining us. We took the team through the money personality test. We have them lots of homework to help them attain and maintain financial oneness. The session had great feedback.

Esther’s and Caleb’s MCCG: Saturday 3rd May 2025

Esther and Caleb are good friend to our family. They have a marriage care and counseling group (MCCG). They invited us to speak to the couples over a dinner in a hotel in Garden Estate. We spoke to the intimate group on the subject of emotional intimacy in marriage. The feedback was great.

Powerhouse Mamlaka: 7th, 14th & 21st May 2025

During this month of May we taught the last three classes of Powerhouse at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka. The men have been consistent in attending the sessions. They have been awfully quiet in the group but very active in class. The last class was very emotional. We addressed father wounds. Many men confessed having painful relationships with their dads. Some teared during the session. We ended the weeks victoriously, with the men resolving to live more responsible lives.

Deliverance for C: Thursday 8th May 2025

A gentleman called C came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second and final session. In this session we covered negative family patterns and ungodly beliefs that the man had adopted that were contradictory to the word of God. We processed them in prayer and the man felt a huge relief afterwards. In his words, he admitted, “This is way better than therapy and it yet it costs nothing; therapy is so expensive.”

Deliverance for W: Friday 9th May 2025

A lady by the name W came for inner healing and restoration. W had undergone several traumatic experiences, including but not limited to a brutal rape and assault in the middle of the night. Her life had taken a dark turn of drugs and debauchery following that incident. The session was very emotional. I cried as she spoke. She cried a lot as well. She has started the inner healing assignment.

Deliverance for N: Saturday 10th May 2025

A lady by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. In this session we addressed areas of unforgiveness. N cried as she forgave her offenders. She submitted herself fully to the session and she felt very relieved.

Premarital Class Retreat: Saturday 10th May 2025

We had the final session for the season 12 premarital class. This class was very animated. They were also very inquisitive with many questions. The last class was on sex in marriage. It was a great class. The class was also very generous. We are grateful for the great season. We had 115 couples in this class.

Powerhouse & Girl Power: 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st May 2025

We started season 22 of Powerhouse and season 4 of Girl Power. The session started off with a bang. The ladies are very animated and excited about the class. We have 82 ladies and 59 men in these seasons. They are reading The Passionate Pursuit of Purity for the class. We hope to finish well.

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka: Sunday 11th May 2025

Pastor Lorraine Bundi of Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka invited me to preach in the teen’s church. They were doing a series on dating and relationships. I spoke on setting healthy foundations for goldy relationships that glorify God. I preached from Genesis 2:15-18. It was a great service.

Prophetic Increase Church: Sunday 11th May 2025

Bishop Gerald Solomon and his son, Pastor Nathaniel Njoroge of Prophetic Increase Church invited me to speak to their congregation on the subject of relationships. I drove to Ngong town and ministered to the eager congregant for two hours. We had a great interactive time in the afternoon. When I finished my session, a heavy downpour of rain ensued. It was just in time because it took the power out as well. The church was grateful and generous to my ministry.

International Day of Families: Thursday 15th May 2025

Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF) partnered with the Government Ministry of Labour and Social Protection for the annual International Day of the Family (IDOF). I was moderating the panel at the event. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Joseph Motari was the chief guest. The theme was Promoting and Protecting Family Values in Challenging Times. This event was part of a series of events organized by KCPF and Africa Christian Professionals Forum (ACPF) during the family week. I am currently the interim convener for the family consortium at KCPF. It was pleasure to work with the Government to protect the family.

KCPF Family Symposium: Friday 16th May 2025

Deliverance for P: Saturday 17th May 2025

A young lady by the name P came for inner healing and restoration. P has undergone a lot of emotional abuse under family and friends. The trauma has caused her to repress some memories. The session we had relieved her, but she may be in need of professional psychological help. We will assess this in the next meeting.

CITAM Thika Road: Sunday 18th May 2025

New Dawn Mentorship: Tuesday 20th May 2025

New Dawn Mentorship invited me to speak to parents in their program on the subject Sex, Screens and Secrets. The focus was on helping parents of teenagers and preteens navigate screen time for their children while protecting them from the dangers of the internet. The session was held on Google Meets. The limit was 100 people and the class filled up very fast. It was a very well-received sessions and there was a cry for more.

Deliverance for N: Wednesday 21st May 2025

A lady by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. N was a victim of family members who practiced witchcraft. We helped her affirm her identity in Christ and renounce anything she may have participated in unknowingly. The session was cathartic for her. We are keeping tabs with her.

Sex, Screens and Secrets: Thursday 22nd May 2025

We decided to do a repeat of the New Dawn webinar. This time, I hosted it on my platform via Zoom. We had 500 people logged in by 7:03 pm. We had about 2700 people following on YouTube. Deliverance for N: Saturday 24th May 2025

A lady by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. This was her second session. N was carrying a lot of weight from past relationships and ungodly beliefs. She had also been spiritually abused and given several false prophecies by a team of people in a cult. She cut ties with the past in the session and surrendered herself fully to the healing process. When we were done, she felt a surge of relief. She admitted that she was very glad to have done this session.

Membley Baptist Church: Sunday 25th May 2025

Membley Baptist Church invited me to speak to their congregation on the final Sunday of family month. I preached from the book of Song of Solomon chapter 5. We did a great exegesis on seasons in marriage and tied it to the life of a believer. The feedback was great. The church desires to partner with The Relationship Centre to help their married couples.

Pastor Kwame Rubadiri of CITAM Broadcast Service (CBS) invited me to do a recording for father’s day. The recording will be out on the second week of June.

Powerhouse and Girl Power ICC: Wednesday 28th May 2025

International Christian Centre (ICC) church invited Turi and I to teach Powerhouse and Girl Power to their Frontrunners Ministry. We have about 90 women and 50 men registered for the classes. We started off pretty well. We are meeting them every Wednesday for eight weeks.
