Family Update

The family is doing well. We are approaching the halfway point in the year. We are healthy and God has been kind to us as a family.  We are grieved by the series of tragic events that have unfolded in our nation. We are glad that we are safe despite even dark season that has robbed many of life and joy. The children came home for their mid-term break. We enjoyed their stay. Early in the month, we had a tragic incident occur in our estate on the night of Wednesday 11th June 2025. A five-year-old girl was murdered in our estate. Her name was Amanda. She was murdered by her uncle. There has been a feeling of heaviness, angst and anger among the residents. Waturi celebrated her 36^th birthday on the 23^rd of June. We are grateful for the first half of the year.

Tumaini Skills Training Centre: Tuesday 3rd June 2025

I was invited to speak at Tumaini Skills Centre to a dozen women who were being rehabilitated through their Business for Transformation program. The session was at Lucky Summer, in a very poor community. The center has taken up women who were on the streets and given them skills so that they don’t have to earn a living through dubious means. On this day I spoke to the women on healing from wounds and accepting the love of the Father through the gospel. It was a refreshing time. It was also challenging to see how poverty has killed the dreams of many youth.

Deliverance for J: Wednesday 4th June 2025

A lady by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. J had indulged in witchcraft and divination out of an attempt to get help from people who called themselves prophets. She had also carried burdens of bitterness and lust from painful relationships and previous lovers. the session went well. When the session was done she experienced a calmness in her soul. We have directed her to plug into her church’s discipleship forum.

Deliverance for M: Wednesday 4th June 2025

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had joined a church that turned out to be a breeding ground for witchcraft and sexual immorality. She had fallen into sexual sin with some of the members and she wanted out. She had discovered that the church was covering up several adulterous relationships that the senior pastor was indulging in. She left the church, repented and began to rebuild her walk with God. She had entered into occultic oaths against her knowledge. We helped her renounce them. She experienced a heavy weight leave her after her repentance and renunciation. We are due for a second session.

ICC Powerhouse & Girl Power: 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th June 2025

International Christian Centre (ICC) Church, West Campus invited Waturi and I to teach Powerhouse and Girl Power. We blocked out eight consecutive weeks to teach the class. The class has acted about 150 people in total. We travelled to the church every Wednesday, since the session were in-person meetings. The feedback has been so great.

The War on Children Webinar: Thursday 5th June 2025

Deliverance for B: Friday 6th June 2025

A lady by the name B came for inner healing and restoration. B is the last born in a family of three. Her family is dysfunctional. She grew up being physically assaulted by her brother and her father. Her father had sexually harassed her on several occasions. She had developed resentment for men and was skeptical of male affection. She also had gone through consistent emotional and verbal abuse from her mother. The session was very heavy for her. She cried a lot as she forgave her offenders. When the session was done she felt a lightness come over her. We are due for a second session.

Powerhouse & Girl Power: 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th June 2025

We have been continuing with the Saturday sessions for Powerhouse and Girl Power. The sessions entered deep accountability and it began to affect the attendance and the group meetings. Either way, we have soldiered on. The feedback from some of the participants has been very positive.

Married Couples Fellowship: Saturday 7th June 2025

Dr. Naitore Nthurima invited Waturi and I to speak to her home fellowship of married couples. We gathered at the house of one of the couples and had lunch together. We shared on intimacy in marriage from Genesis 2:23-25.

Deliverance for A: Monday 9th June 2025

I conducted an inner healing and restoration session via Zoom for a Kenyan man living in the United Kingdom. The man was an alcoholic. He had been harboring a lot of pain from his childhood. The inner healing exercise brought up wounds that were hidden. He confessed a lot and spoke form his heart. We had a very therapeutic session. We are due for a second one.

Deliverance for V: Tuesday 10th June 2025

A lady by the name V came for inner healing and restoration. V had been through an ordeal of painful relationships. She had been molested by two men when she was a child. She had entered into a series of sexual relationships that wasted her life. Her marriage had fallen apart and she had lost zeal for life. She opened up without restraint and we had a wonderful prayer session. She experienced a therapeutic peace when the session was over. We are due for a second session.

Compassion International: Wednesday 11th June 2025

Compassion International invited me to speak to their staff in their mid-week service. I was talked to speak on LGBTQ. I preached from Romans 1:18-32. The feedback was great. The staff bought a few books. The photo on the left is me receiving a gift from Compassion.

Deliverance for D: Wednesday 11th June 2025

A middle-aged man by the name of D came for inner healing and restoration. D had suffered a divorce. His wife had filed for divorce and left him after he was abusive towards her. D lost his job and got to the bottom of life’s barrel. In this dip, he found the LORD Jesus and repented. He is not rebuilding his life slowly. We had the first session and he was relieved. He cried a few times in the session from the foolishness of his former way of living. We are due for another session.

Liberty Christian Centre: Thursday 12th June 2025

The Anchor Forum is a parenting ministry of Liberty Christian Centre. They invited me to conduct a session on digital parenting. I taught parents on the importance of raising children who are not digitally needy. I also raised the concerns and dangers about porn and excessive screen time on mobile phones.

Engie Energy Access: Monday 16th June 2025

The Human Resource team at Engie Energy Access invited me to speak on fatherhood after the Father’s Day weekend. It was a hybrids session. Some members were physically present for the session at Purshottam Place in Westlands, while others logged in online. I spoke to the team about healing from the wounds of fathers and how to ensure that those who had children would not pass on baggage to their offspring. The HR team told me that the session was received very well.

RIG Global Nairobi: Monday 16th June 2025

Restoring Issachar’s Generation (RIG) Nation ministries reached out to me through their Nairobi office. They tasked me to teach a class to their parents on understanding the LGBTQ movement. The session went well. Here is the recording. It was in two parts because of a technical difficulty:

Tumaini Skills Training Centre: Tuesday 17th June 2025

I was invited to speak at Tumaini Skills Centre a second time. I addressed the same dozen women who were being rehabilitated through the centre’s Business for Transformation program. I tagged alone one of our disciples for the session at Lucky Summer. The topic on this day was Christian Living. We did an experiential learning exercise called the Desert Survival Test. The test brought out many lessons for the ladies at the centre. We focused on the need for prayer, the word and intimate fellowship in order to thrive in our Christian walk. I have one more session with the ladies.

Deliverance for F: Thursday 19th June 2025

A woman by the name F came for inner healing and restoration. F is a Muslim. Her marriage had fallen apart due to her husband’s infidelity. She was harbouring a lot of bitterness from her husband and her in-laws. I shared the gospel with her. She did not receive Christ, but she was keen to get prayer for healing. I was convicted by the LORD to help her forgive her family. She was resistant but she eventually agreed. After the session, F was so overwhelmed with the peace. She kept asking what I had done to her. She was wondering why one session had given her more peace than all the therapy she had gone for.

Deliverance for V: Friday 20th June 2025

A woman by the name V came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second session. We focused prayer on healing from toxic relationships. This session was very therapeutic for her. V admitted feeling very relieved, as if a heavy burden has left her. We are due for a third session.

Couples’ Dinner: Friday 20th June 2025

Pastor Kelvin and Peninah Mungai of Trinity C Fellowship Church invited us for a married couples’ dinner that was being held at their church. This was the church’s first married couples’ dinner.

The Purpose & Leadership Forum: Saturday 20th June 2025

Kingdom Business Solutions invited Waturi and I to speak at their Purpose and Leadership Forum (PLF) on the subject Models in the Marketplace. The focus of the modeling was on being good stewards of finances. I taught the first half of the class while Waturi taught the second half of the class. The feedback from the students was good.

AIC Milimani: Saturday 20th June 2025

African Inland Church (AIC) Milimani invited me to speak in their 2025 Annual Ladies Convention. I was tasked to speak to the single unmarried women of the church. We had a wonderful session with the ladies. The focus of the session was on sexual purity. In the session, I taught the ladies the difference between gospel-centered purity and culture-centered purity. Gospel-centered purity is cross-centered, destiny-concerned and people-connected. The feedback was great. They invited me for a second session.

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Diani: 27th-29th June 2025

I was invited by Pastor Isaac Murage to speak to the men at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Diani. I flew down to Diani and communed with 17 men. We met at Golden Duranta Villas for the weekend retreat. I taught five plenaries. The theme of the weekend was “Faithful men; called to fullness.” I taught on biblical masculinity, sexual purity and the need for a brotherhood. We had a wonderful prayer session at the end. Here below is a picture of the men at the session. Deliverance for N and A: Monday 30th June 2025

A couple by the names N and A came for inner healing and restoration. We have been meeting for a while now. In this meeting, we dealt with ungodly beliefs. We had a wonderful time and the couple felt very encouraged by the session. We have one more to go.

I don’t even know if you guys know the extent at which you are changing lives…..it’s massive…lust has consumed many….even the greatest of theologians…you guys are not wasting the talents given by your master…when he comes back you won’t be the one who hid it in the ground…you guys are definetly the one who multiplied it…..You have changed my life…..I’m a Sunday school teacher and now I will utilise the knowledge I have gained to even help the kids I teach….so have not only reached me but the kids I teach…..
