Family Update

The April holidays have come and gone. We celebrated the death and resurrection of Christ here in Nairobi. There were a number of speaking engagements because of the holidays; teens were at home. Ernest fell sick at some point, but he recovered very well by the grace of God.

Powerhouse Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka: 2^nd – 30^th April 2025

I have been meeting the men at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka upon the request of their pastors. I spoke in their March men’s meeting on pornography. They tasked me to take the men of the church through the Powerhouse program. We have been meeting every week on Wednesday and the men are appreciating the sessions.

Nairobi Chapel Karen: Saturday 5^th April 2025

I was invited to speak to parents at Nairobi Chapel Karen on the subject: How to talk to your children about sex. It was a great session. The parents were grateful for the session. They invited me to return to speak on LGBTQ.

Lust Stories: Destiny Chapel: Saturday 5^th April 2025

I was invited by Scott Chagenya to speak in an event he was planning. The event was called Lust Stories. It was held at Destiny Chapel in Industrial Area, Nairobi. The event attracted several young people. I was the guest speaker. We had a great session of prayer, the word, art presentations and testimonies of freedom from lust.

Premarital Class Season 12: Sunday 6^th April 2025

We completed season 12 of the Premarital Class. The final class was on sex in marriage. This class was very animated. We had a few break ups. The class will have a hangout on Saturday the 10th of May 2025.

Youth Ascend Conference- Revival Worship Church: 9^th – 11^th April 2025

I was invited by Debbie Oyugi to speak at the Youth Ascend Conference, hosted by Revival Fellowship Church in Luanda. I flew to Kisumu and was picked up by my host. We drove to Luanda and had a wonderful time ministering to the teenagers of Nyanza region.

Cornerstone Youth Conference: 12^th & 13^th April 2025

Cornerstone Church held its first youth conference. I was humbled to be one of its premier speakers. The theme of the conference was Jesus-The Greatest Influencer. The event went really well. I also spoke the following day (on Sunday) in their first church service.

CITAM Woodley: Sunday 6^th April 2025

Christ Is The Answer Ministries Woodley invited me to speak to parents and teenagers in a combined session. I taught on how to heal from parental wounds and how to meet the needs of teenagers. The session was helpful to both parents and teenagers. The feedback was fantastic.

Boy Meets Girl Vol. 23: Sunday 6^th April 2025

We held the 23^rd volume of Boy Meets Girl at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka. The theme was No Compromise- Dating God’s Way of No Way. We had a full house. Waturi and I taught the singles who attended the session. We did it in an interactive way, where we presented scenarios of dating relationships for the attendees to ponder on and give their wisdom on how to resolve the matter. We ended the session by pointing the attendees to biblical wisdom. We also had the people pray for each other before we left.

Full Gospel Church Murang’a: Monday 7^th April 2025

I spoke to the youth of Full Gospel Murang’a on the evening of this Monday. I was tasked to speak on the subject of sexual purity. I taught from Genesis 39. The feedback was very good. The session ended late in the night. The church hosted me at Nokras Hotel in Murang’a town.

Wendo Retreat & Arboretum: 15^th – 16^th April 2025

I drove to Nakuru from Murang’a using the Nyeri route. I was heading to Wendo Retreat and Arboretum to speak to a group of teenagers who were hosted by the hosts- Charles and Evelyn Wahome. I spent two days with the teens, speaking on sexual purity, the gospel, homosexuality and healthy dating relationships. The ministry donated my book, Holy Joe, to all the teens in the retreat center.

Deliverance for G: Wednesday 23^rd April 2025

A man by the name G came for inner healing and restoration. This was G’s second meeting. He had been inducted into the occult while in the university. He got sworn in into the illuminati and his life fell apart. He started seeing demons everywhere. He could hear voices in his head and in his stomach. They would abuse him and call him all sorts of names. Even while in session, he could hear them saying that the meeting was a waste of time. The man repented of his foolishness in entering the occult. We stood with him in prayer and cast out the demons. He felt them leave through his chest in a violent rush. He went back home and testified that he was feeling free. The voices disappeared and he has been experiencing peace.

Ruach Rivers: Saturday 26^th April 2025

I was invited by Pastor Samwel Omondi AKA Pastor Doc of Ruach Rivers to be part of a panel and book launch in an event titled Sex Unmasked. I was on the panel with new author Dr. Chadwink Ochieng’, whose book inspired the name of the event.  Also on the panel was his wife Eunice and a minister at Ruach called Pastor Roger. We had a powerful time ministering to the event attendees.

ICC Kitengela: Sunday 27^th April 2025

International Christian Centre (ICC) Church Kitengela invited me to speak to their youth on the subject of LGBTQ. The session went well. It was boosted by an interactive Q and A session afterwards. The feedback was vey positive.

CITAM Thika Town MCCG: Sunday 27^th April 2025

A marriage care and counselling group (MCCG) from Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Thika Town invited me to speak to the couples in their fellowship on the subject of intimacy in marriage. Waturi and I graced the session and we had a wonderful time with the couples.

Elevate TV: Monday 28^th April 2025

Deliverance for H: Tuesday 29^th April 2025

A young woman by the name H came for inner healing and restoration. H had gone through a series of abuse from her father and family of origin. She was battling several traumatic incidences from physical violence, verbal abuse and lots of manipulation. Her story was so heartbreaking, I found myself crying as she narrated the incidences. We processed the first segment of the healing assignment and she did really well. She experienced a cathartic release. We have a second meeting coming up.
