Family Update

The year has slowed down. We are done with the first quarter of 2025 and we are reflecting if we have been faithful hitherto. Ernest will be taking some break in April to rejuvenate. He has not gone for leave in a while. The children are home for the holidays. We hope to celebrate Easter with them and the family in a meaningful way.

Parenting Session at CITAM Woodley: Saturday 1^st March 2025

I was invited by Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Woodley to speak to parents of pre-teenagers. We had a wonderful time together focusing on how to raise children while meeting their core needs. The feedback was very positive by the parents. We will be having another session in April.

Young Professionals Dinner at CITAM Nyeri: Saturday 1^st March 2025

I was invited by Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Nyeri to speak to the young professionals. The YP ministry held a wonderful dinner at FK Resort- a new hotel in Nyeri county. I had a great interaction with the team. One man proposed to his girlfriend during the dinner.

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka Youth Church: Sunday 2^nd March 2025

Pastor Lorraine Bundi invited me to do the final part of the series on addictions. In this session we addressed the solution to addictions. I preached from 1 Thessalonians 4. After the session, we had an extended time for Q and A. It was a great time because the high-schoolers were around for the half-term break. Our ministry managed to give everyone a copy of the booklet Holy Joe- A Pocket Handbook on Sexual Purity.

Premarital Class Season 12: 2^nd to 30^th March 2025

We had a great time teaching the premarital class this month. The class has been very lively. We have had some break-ups. Most of the people have been affirmed in their union. The final class is in the first Sunday of April.

Deliverance for S: Tuesday 4^th March 2025

A young woman by the name S came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second meeting. S was struggling with a painful relationship with her parents. In this meeting, we processed the baggage from her family of origin. It was an emotional meeting for S, but she experienced a lot of relief.

Deliverance for E: Wednesday 5^th March 2025

A young woman by the name E came for inner healing and restoration. E was struggling from a painful breakup. She reached out to her church community but  she did not receive help. Her pastor refused to meet her, stating that he had more important things to do. E left the church. She processed all the pain. She cried a lot. When the session was over, she felt greatly relieved.

Deliverance for O: Wednesday 5^th March 2025

A man by the name O came for inner healing and restoration. O had a sexual addiction and it was breaking his marriage. Their sexual life had died and he was not attracted to his wife. He was also hurting from pain from some family members. We processed the pain and O was overwhelmed but relieved. He admitted that he had not prayed like that before. We are due for a second meeting.

Deliverance for M: Thursday 6^th March 2025

A woman by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second meeting. We are still covering the list of people to forgive. We covered a great number of people and M felt reprieve. She admitted that her life has become orderly ever since we started the sessions.

Deliverance for C: Friday 7^th March 2025

A lady by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. C was harbouring pain from family members who had hurt her. She was also nursing pain from a relationship that had come to an end. She had been involved into some ungodly spiritual activity by a woman who was deceiving her. The session went well and C left feeling reprieve.

Nairobi Chapel Couples Dinner: Friday 7^th March 2025

Nairobi Chapel Ngong’ Road invited Waturi and I to speak in their couples’ dinner. The theme of the dinner was Money, Sex and Power. We had a great time at the event and got to reconnect with many friends. The dinner went really well. They have booked Waturi and I to speak in all their couple events for the year 2025, including their end of year retreat.

Gracepoint Church Kikuyu: Saturday 8^th March 2025

I was invited by Gracepoint Church Kikuyu to minister to singles on preparing for marriage. We had a wonderful interactive time  with the attendees as we looked at wisdom on how to select a life partner.

Eddah Nzia’s event: Saturday 8^th March 2025

I was invited by my friend, Eddah Nzia, to speak to speak at an online event she was planning courtesy of her ministry- Royal Diadem Network. The topic was Childhood Trauma in Relationships and Marriage. I had a wonderful time sharing on the effects of parental wounds on children and how to heal from them. It was a cathartic session.

CITAM Ngong: Tuesday 11^th March 2025

Christ Is The Answer (CITAM) Ngong invited me to speak to their ex-candidate youth. I was asked to speak on sexual purity. I ministered from 1 Thessalonians 4:1-5. The response was very good. I gave each person a copy of Holy Joe- A Pocket Handbook on Sexual Purity.

Deliverance for C: Wednesday 12^th March 2025

A man by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. C had come from a painful breakup. Prior to this, he had also come from a painful relationship that had turned emotionally abusive. We processed the first part of the assignment and he felt very relieved. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for M: Thursday 13^th March 2025

A man by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had been exposed to homosexuality when he was in high school. When he completed high school, he was led astray by an older man who posed as a mentor only to lure him further into homosexuality. M had many people to forgive. He submitted himself to the session and he experienced a lot of peace. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for J: Friday 14^th March 2025

A man by the name J came for inner healing and restoration. J had had a tough childhood. He released his frustration by going into a world of sexual immorality. It led him into emptiness. He repented and returned to the LORD like a prodigal son. We had a great time processing the childhood wounds. They had also led him into a world of sexual addictions. The session was relieving for him, especially because he had never talked to anyone about these things.

Anchored Men’s Breakfast: Saturday 15^th March 2025

I spoke to the men of my church, Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka, during their Anchored Men’s Breakfast. The topic was Phonication- Winning the Sexual Battle in the Mind. We had a great turnout of men- the highest that the ministry has ever recorded. About 50 men registered to start Powerhouse.

Governor School Maai Mahiu: Saturday 15^th March 2025

I was invited to speak at Governor School in Maai Mahiu during their weekend challenge. I ministered in the late morning on healing from parental wounds. We had a great altar call with teenagers crying as they forgave their parents. In the evening, I spoke to the staff on dating and marrying well.

Deliverance for M: Thursday 20^th March 2025

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had been consistently emotionally abused by her family members. She was very insecure in her identity and was very wounded. We processed all her wounds and she cried a lot during the session. She, however, released the pain and was very relieved after the session.

Deliverance for S: Thursday 20^th March 2025

A lady by the name S came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third session. We processed ungodly beliefs about God, about self and about others. We completed the session. S is a changed woman.

The Xperience Kahawa Sukari: Thursday 20^th March 2025

Deliverance Church Christ Centre invited to speak in their Thursday Xperience service. I was tasked to speak on LGBTQ. I preached from Romans Chapter 1. Majority of attendees were campus students. They gave me great feedback on the presentation of the message.

Elsie Stephens invited me to record the final episode in season 1 of her new podcast- Adelphoi. The podcast will be launched soon.

Deliverance for M: Friday 21^st March 2025

A woman by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third meeting. We are still focusing on the area of forgiveness. We covered a great deal of people. We are due for a fourth meeting.

iServe Africa: Tuesday 25^th March 2025

iServe Africa invited me to speak to their group of ex-candidates on the subject of sexual purity. We had two great sessions biblically examining the matter. After the session, I gave each student a copy of Holy Joe- A Pocket Handbook on Sexual Purity.

Deliverance for M: Tuesday 25^th March 2025

A woman by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M was from West Africa and had moved to Kenya. She had been severely wounded by a man who was a narcissist. The relationship was toxic and it drove her far away from God. She repented and returned back to the LORD. Our session was very cathartic for her. She cried a lot as she forgave. We are due for a second session.

I took a lady by the name N through inner healing and restoration. N is from Rwanda. Our session was online. N had gone through a series of painful relationships. She had been used

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka Parents Conference: Saturday 29^th March 2025

Pastor Lorraine Bundi invited me to minister to parents of teenagers at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka. I spoke to the parents on two topics- porn addiction and marijuana addiction. I had never spoken on the subject of marijuana. I did my research and managed to present it to the parents in a one-hour session. The feedback was very good.

Deliverance for A and N: Saturday 29^th March 2025

A couple by the names A and N came for inner healing and restoration. This was our third session together. The couple has significantly healed since our first meeting. They are doing well. We dealt with negative family patterns in this session. The lady cried a lot from the pain of family members who had hurt her. We have another session to go.

Prophetic Increase Church: Sunday 30^th March 2025

Pastor Nathaniel Njoroge invited me to speak at his father’s church in Ngong- Prophetic Increase Church. I spoke in both services. The church was very warm and receptive to my messages. I will be back in May to have a session with the youth in the afternoon.

TESTIMONY

Hi Ernest, I was thinking about how divinely the Lord orders our steps yesterday. Looking into what I am currently doing and becoming, I reflect and see how critical it was that we met, the Lord used you to usher me into healing and how important that was. And now, here I am in the ministry of healing, as the Lord leads me. Why am I writing this? Sometimes it takes time to fully comprehend some moments in our lives. I’ll forever be grateful for those hours we sat in that office.
