Family Update

February was as busy as a beehive. The Valentine’s season has been full of relationship events. Waturi participated in The Crucible Project Women’s retreat and graduated with a group of other ladies. The children have been on midterm in the last week of the month. We have enjoyed their company. Ernest got to revive the old Playstation 2 (PS2) that he grew up with. He got a new set of game pads and some new cables and revived it. He also got a few new games for the children. The PS2 has become their new favourite hobby.

Mt. Longonot Hike: Saturday 1st February 2025

We completed the Powerhouse & Girl Power fellowships for season 19 and Season 3 respectively. We did this with a hike to Mount Longonot. We were about 40 people in total. The weather was fair in the morning but it rained the whole afternoon. We hope to run the next season in April this year.

Season 12 Premarital Class: Sunday 2nd to 23rd February 2025

We are on course with season 12 of the premarital class. We are now halfway through the class. The class is very lively with many questions. The class on money in marriage had to be the hardest for the team so far, but we are progressing very well.

Deliverance for K: Tuesday 4th February 2025

A lady by the name K came for inner healing and restoration. K was a jilted lover. She had been used and rejected by a man she loved deeply. She confessed that the relationship had caused her to compromise on her values as a believer. The break up was painful but it was good for her repentance. She was carrying the guilt of several abortions and was struggling to reconnect with God. She cried throughout her repentance. We prayed through all the sections and she felt a huge weight of relief leave her. She started her month with a new spring in her step.

Deliverance for L: Wednesday 5th February 2025

A lady by the name L came for inner healing and restoration. L had been severely hurt by family. She was harbouring lots of father wounds and mother wounds. Her desperation for love had led her down a path of several sexual relationships, even with married men. She was guilty and full of regret. She wept a lot in the session as she forgave offenders and repented of her own sins. The session left her feeling liberated and renewed to start her life a fresh.

Deliverance for I: Wednesday 5th February 2025

A lady by the name I came for inner healing and restoration. This was our second session. She was doing much better compared to her first visit. She had been having horrible sexual dreams. They all stopped after our first session. She was hopeful and she felt that her life was back on track with God. In this second and final session, she renounced ungodly beliefs about God, about herself and about others. She surrendered stubborn areas of her life to God. The session left her feeling liberated.

PCEA Kahawa Sukari: Thursday 6th February 2025

Pastor Kuria Maina invited me to speak to ex candidates in PCEA Kahawa Sukari. We had a great session on sexual purity with the young men and women. I spoke to them on boundaries with the opposite sex while in the university. We also talked about healing from sexual sin and how to live purely. We studied the life of Joseph and I gave them each a free copy of my booklet, Holy Joe.

KAG Tudor Mombasa: Saturday 8th February 2025

Pastor Mark Oino of Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) Tudor in Mombasa invited me to speak at their youth dinner. We had a great interactive session with the youth. We had good coastal food and an interactive talk on choosing a life partner.

PAC University: Tuesday 11th February 2025

Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University invited me to speak in their chapel service. The theme was on love and relationships. I preached on the right foundations of love from Genesis 2:15-18.

Deliverance for M: Tuesday 11th February 2025

A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. She had been directed to see my by a man who had a prophetic gift. She trusted the prophet and contacted me. I gave her the healing assignment and she resonated with it immediately. M was harbouring lots of pain from church leaders. Her church wounds had led her down a path of pain and bitterness. She spoke openly about the pain and she forgave with all her heart. She cried a lot during the session and felt lighter when we were done. We are set for a second session.

PAC University: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University invited me to join Pastor David Ewagata for a Q and A session on dealing with heartbreaks and how to end relationships well. The session was well attended by the students.

PAC University: Thursday 13th February 2025

Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University invited me for the third and final installment in their love and relationship week. I took the students through a session on healing and forgiveness. We had an altar call with more than 20 people. Most of them were crying as they forgave. We had a wonderful prayer session with the students.

KCPF: Thursday, 13th February 2025

CITAM Machakos Ex Cans: Friday 14th February 2025

Pastor Tobias Barasa invited me to speak to the ex candidates of CITAM Machakos. The session was on building healthy relationships and conflict resolution. The group was intimate. We had a very productive session together.

Love God’s Way Valentine’s Dinner: Friday 14th February 2025

We held the couple’s at Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel. The turn-out was amazing. We had more than 300 husbands and wives in attendance. The event was a lot of fun. The feedback was very positive.

PEFA Gikomba Youth Dinner: Saturday 15th February 2025

Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Gikomba invited me to speak at their youth dinner. The dinner attracted an intimate number of youth from the church. We had an interactive session on dating and marrying well.

Family Media: Monday-Friday 17th to 21st February 2025

Pastor Elijah Mokaya of Family Media invited me to teach the family devotion from Monday to Friday. The sessions took place between 6:00 am and 7:00 am on television and radio. The series was titled “Traits of a Healthy Church.” Here are the recordings:

PEFA Donholm: Tuesday 18th February 2025

Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Donholm invited me to speak to their ex candidates. We spent the morning and afternoon studying God’s will for our sexuality and handling dating relationships in campus.

Deliverance for K: Wednesday 19th February 2025

A lady by the name K came for inner healing and restoration. K had come from a background of rebellion. She had walked away from the faith and had recently repented. She was harbouring a lot of pain and bitterness from people who had hurt her and used her. She also repented of sexual sin. The session was very emotional for her. When we were done she felt lighter and relieved. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for M: Friday 21st February 2025

A lady by the name M came for the second session of inner healing and restoration. M was very different from the first session. She was the one who had been referred to me by the prophet. She confessed that she felt lighter after the session and saw many things in her life fall back in order, including a clean house. For the first time in several months, she cleaned her house, ironed out all her clothes, and neatly arranged her shelves. She said a newness had come over her and it was commanding order all around. We spent the whole session forgiving offenders and repenting of bitterness and unforgiveness. We are due for a third session.

PCEA Zimmerman: Friday 21st February 2025

PCEA Zimmerman invited me to speak to their young adults at a late dinner at Rainbow Resort Ruiru. We had a great interactive time with the young people on characteristics of selecting a life partner. We had a wonderful time with the young adults.

Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka: Sunday 23rd February 2025

My home church, Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka invited me to speak to the teenagers in the youth church. The theme was Empty Highs and Fake Lies. The session on this Sunday focused on addictions and loneliness. One girl walked up to me after church and confessed to me that she was about to walk away from the faith. However, after hearing my sermon, God changed her mind and she rededicated herself to him.

CITAM Buruburu: Sunday 23rd February 2025

Pastor Stephen Onguko invited me and Pastor Janet of CITAM Thika Road to share in their Relationship Garage panel series. We had a great time ministering to the young people.

Ukarimu Ministries: Monday 24th February 2025

Ukarimu Ministries is a trust started by Chip and Chari Kingsbury. They operate in Lukenya area in Athi River. Once in a while they open their home to students from Daystar University to share the gospel with them through interactive discussions of life. Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Donholm invited me for the second session with the ex candidates. We covered LGBTQ and Civic Duty in two separate sessions, in the morning and the afternoon respectively.

Deliverance for C: Wednesday 26th February 2025

A lady by the name C came for inner healing and restoration. C had gone through a painful childhood of being rejected. She had had some painful romantic relationships and had grown distant from God. She completed the assignment and was eager to forgive her offenders. She was broken, and she cried during the session. After we were done, she was relieved and felt lighter. We are due for a second session.

Deliverance for M: Wednesday 26th February 2025

A lady by the name M came for the inner healing and restoration. J had come from an emotionally abusive relationship. She had fallen into sexual sin and had drifted from the faith. She ended the relationship and came for the healing session. She was open and vulnerable in the prayer session. When we were done, she felt lighter. She has resumed her spiritual disciplines of prayer an the word.

Deliverance for N: Friday 28th February 2025

A young man by the name N came for inner healing and restoration. We had a great prayer session with him. He was very vulnerable. When we were done, he was very relieved and grateful.
