It has been an exciting month in the ministry. We have seen God’s hand move. Here is a summary of what the LORD has enabled us to do this past one month, by His good grace.

Family Update
Ernest buried his grandfather on the 31st of May. The ceremony went well. The family is at a much better place.

LEVITICUS 19 EXPOSITION AT SATURDAY PM- Saturday 29th May 2021

J’s DELIVERANCE- Wednesday 2nd June 2021
A lady by the name J was referred to our ministry by someone who had received inner healing and restoration at some point this year. We scheduled her for a session. She was being weighed down by strongholds of bitterness and witchcraft. She submitted to the LORD and was fully delivered.

S’s DELIVERANCE- Thursday 3rd June 2021
A lady called S was also referred to our ministry by someone. S had been to mental health institutions and was experiencing demonic attacks in the night. She had also been raped at least 7 times. She had dabbled in the occult and in witchcraft. When she told us her story, we shared the Gospel with her. She humbled herself and submitted to Christ. She was just about to confess Jesus as LORD when her mouth went mute. She could feel a choking sensation that prevented her from speaking. We rebuked the opposing spirit and
proceeded to exorcise her. At the very least, more than 100 demons left her. We lost count. The chief demon was very strong physically and was cumbersome to exorcise. We remained patient, all the same, and it soon left amidst cries and shrieks. S surrendered to Christ and slept for the first time in 16 years without demonic attacks. The Holy Spirit gave her a powerful discernment gift after her deliverance. We bought her a Bible. We plan to baptise her and by God’s grace, disciple her.

BE YOUR BEST BY DELIVERANCE CHURCH SPRINGFIELDS- Thursday 3rd June 2021
Ernest will be teaching the youth of DC Springfields on maximising their Christian life. The first session was held on this date. Ernest taught on stewardship and responsibility. It served as an introductory teaching to the rest of the series. He will be doing every Thursday this for seven weeks.

PATHFINDER’S EX-CANS FORUM- Tuesday 8th June 2021
CITAM Valley Road invited me to speak to the ex-candidates on two topics- sexuality and building holistic relationships. The sessions were in-person fellowships. There was a good attendance of the youth. We conducted two scriptural expositions that helped them understand how to manage their sexuality in campus and how to develop lasting holistic relationships.

THE MWANGA COLLECTIVE MEN’S FORUM- Wednesday 9th June 2021
Ernest spoke to theme from The Mwanga Collective ministry on the importance of having a brotherhood of men. The session explored the common weaknesses that men have and how a community of men is catered to tackle these issues. The recorded session is available here: https://fb.watch/6b5Vuk2UfE/

Ernest continued the series at DC Springfields. He taught on part one of thriving in one’s singlehood.

POWERHOUSE- 12th, 19th, 26th June 2021
Ernest started the pornography-addiction recovery class for men. The class has 120 participants. This is the largest class we have ever had. The men’s groups have gelled well and are full of hope for deliverance.

PREMARITAL CLASS- 13th, 20th, 27th June 2021
We started season 2 of the premarital class. We have covered three sessions in June: laying the foundations, the purpose-driven marriage and friendship in marriage. We are excited to have participants from all over the world.

B’s DELIVERANCE- Monday 14th June 2021
We conducted a session of inner healing and restoration for a gentleman by the name B. B was very open and ready for healing. The major wounds in his life included unforgiveness and betrayal from friendships. He forgave, released and was set free.

PATHFINDER’S EX-CANS FORUM- Tuesday 15th June 2021
CITAM Valley Road invited me again to speak to the ex-candidates. The topic was Emotional Intelligence. I took the young men and women through a session that helped them understand the 5 pillars of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy and social skills. We also helped them understand heir temperaments.

LGBTQ APOLOGETICS FORUM- Saturday 19th June 2021
FOCUS Kenya invited me for a second session on engaging the LGBTQ community. This was preceded by two sessions on apologetics by Bill Dindi and Pastor David Ndegerege.

GOVERNOR SECONDARY SCHOOL WEEKEND CHALLENGE- Sunday 20th June 2021

The principal of Governor Secondary School in Maai Mahiu, Catherine Muthui, invited me to be the Sunday preacher at their weekend challenge. I attended the weekend challenge with two of my disciples, Edwin and Anna. The LORD moved mightily. 130 students believed the gospel and surrendered their lives to Christ. We had a healing session where the children forgave their parents for offences committed against them. We exorcised a few possessed people and broke the bondages of many who were oppressed and struggling with besetting sins. Here is a photo we took with the staff after the weekend challenge.

DAVIDIC CROWN MEN’S FORUM- Tuesday 22nd June 2021
My friend Geoffrey Kim Mwaniki invited me to speak to the men in his ministry on the topic The Battle with the Flesh. The focus was on sexual purity. CITAM PARKLANDS EX-CANS PROGRAM- Thursday 24th June 2021

Pastor Timothy Gicharu of CITAM Parklands invited me to cover two sessions with the ex-candidates. The first one was drugs and substance abuse. The second was on LGBTQ. The teenagers were very open and asked many questions pertaining to life in the University.

BE YOUR BEST (BYB) BY DELIVERANCE CHURCH SPRINGFIELDS- Thursday 24th June 2021
I continued with the BYB series with Deliverance Church Springfields. We talked about dealing with baggage. The session involved examining the history of our families of origin and the biases we develop from our parents. We then examined what baggage does to our hearts, especially the rot of bitterness. We ended the session by demonstration how the Gospel is the antidote to all forms of baggage.

MAMLAKA HILL CHAPEL RUAKA DINNER

I was the guest speaker at Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka’s singles dinner. We had a great evening of dress-up, karaoke and friendly interaction. I shared on godly friendships and the need to be anchored on the Gospel. The picture on the left is Pastor Charity, Pastor David and I taking a shot before the dinner started.
