Premarital Class Season 8 – Sunday 2nd to 30th July 2023

Our premarital class has progressed very well. We have had great feedback from the class. Unfortunately (or fortunately) some couples have broken up. We will finish on the first Sunday of August.

TESTIMONIES

Good afternoon. I just have to confess that the class and the book-Baesics has not only taught me about my marriage but has taken me out of bondage of fear. I feel free and confident and eager to understand more about my purpose on the body of Christ. Si mbarikiwe. The class and knowledge ya kitabu have given freedom ingine yenye sikuwa nayo ingine ni about God’s purpose for my life and my marriage. I think hii God’s purpose imekuwa kwa my mind three weeks now …have told my Pst. Mark mwenye alinisaidia kujoin hii class Mungu alikuwa na reason asanteni can’t appreciate you much but si Mungu awape more divine wisdom mlee wengi na wengi to the Body of Christ.

MINISTRY UPDATES

We have added a new arm to our ministry – Girl Power! We are now offering women the same kind of ministry that we have offered the men for the past seven years. We are glad to have pioneered this. Waturi is teaching this class currently at ICC.

Because of the heavy ministry work, we have decided to do our podcasts on a fortnight basis.

Our book Baesics was pirated by a member of our previous premarital class. We caught the person and they apologised, claiming they did not know converting the ebook file to PDF was illegal. We made keen follow ups and ensured that all traceable illegal copies were deleted.

We have innovated a new board game. We are calling it “Logos: The Ultimate Bible Board Game.” Logos is an idea that started in 2017. Over the years, while doing youth ministry, we noticed a few gaps in the mission field. From a general observation, biblical illiteracy seemed to be on a steady increase, especially among urban youth and teens. Some had access to the scriptures but struggled to draw out their power for everyday living. Our time in the mission field has proven this fundamental truth to be solid- that intimacy with the scriptures is a vital weapon in a believer’s struggle against sin and pursuit of righteousness. We have given the people we have ministered to statistics on the benefit of scripture consumption and even taught them how to do a personal quiet time. But nothing has driven the point home like the charades game on the Bible that we started giving in 2017. With time, I developed the game into something more challenging that would spur individuals to know their Bible better and have competitive fun at the same time. I borrowed a few ideas from some popular board games we know and made our own unique version. After several test groups and feedback notes, we finally came up with LOGOS. Logos is a Greek Word that means God’s divine revelation.

We have a board, a maximum of five teams, a timer and an explosion of fun that will make you want to really rev your Bible knowledge engines. It is a great resource for family devotions, hangouts with friends, holiday plans, church retreats, youth camps, and game nights. Logos is available for 4900 KES. You can get your game by sending 4900 to Mpesa Paybill Number: 204 634 Account: Logos (It will read THE RELATIONSHIP CTR). Once you make your payment, fill in this online form and we shall deliver the game to you: https://www.penstrokes.co.ke/logos/
