FOCUS National Leadership and Mentorship Summit – Tuesday 3rd January 2023
I was invited by the Fellowship of Christian Unions of Kenya (FOCUS) to speak in their National Leadership and Mentorship Summit. The summit gathered Christian Union officials and leaders from universities and colleges all around the country. My workshop was focused on helping men and women relate in healthy ways as friends and dating couples while serving as Christian leaders. The session was very interactive and bore much fruit.
Deliverance for M – Tuesday 3rd January 2023
A lady by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. She had completed the assignment. M had been kidnapped, trafficked, and gang raped for five days by a group of men in Umoja Estate in Nairobi. A good Samaritan helped her escape. She became severely sick after the incident. She had had a very abusive family background. She got into a string of unhealthy relationships that left her more damaged emotionally and psychologically. Over the years, God has been healing her. She met a godly man whom she is dating. Her boyfriend is the one who introduced her to me. She openly and vulnerably came for the healing. We spent time with her and her boyfriend going through the assignment. I am keeping close to both of them as they are intent on getting married.
PCEA Ayub Kinyua Eldoret – Sunday 8th January 2023
The Presbyterian Church of East Africa Ayub Kinyua parish in Eldoret invited me to have a youth conference with their young adults. The session began with a presentation of the Gospel. After I shared the Gospel, I did an altar call. Eight people (six men and two women) came forward and repented of their sins and gave their lives to Christ. One of them was a Muslim. He renounced Islam, received the Holy Spirit and was sealed unto salvation. We then had a great interactive session on preparing for marriage. The seminar was successful by the grace of God.
PCEA Kahawa Sukari – Tuesday 10th January 2023
The Presbyterian Church of East Africa Kahawa Sukari parish in Nairobi invited me to speak to the teenagers who were on holiday break. The topic was sexual purity. We did an exposition on 1st Thessalonians 5:1-5. The youth were very responsive. We had a brief Q and A session at the end followed by a time of prayer. As I was preaching, a young man oppressed by an unclean spirit was overcome. The spirit violently threw the young man down in the middle of the preaching. The throw was so violent that the young man’s tooth broke as he hit his face against the tiled floor. The teens around the boy were a bit terrified. I waled up the boy and turned him over. The unclean spirit was grunting like a rabid animal while staring at me angrily. I pleaded the blood of the Lamb over the boy and cast out the unclean spirit in the name of Jesus. The demon offered no resistance. It left him immediately. The boy came back to his senses and was confused. I asked him his name and he responded. He asked what he was doing on the floor and what had happened. I asked him if he remembered anything. He did not. He said one minute he was listening to me preach, the next he was on the floor with me asking him his name. I met him afterwards. He affirmed faith in Christ and God assured me of his safety.
iServe Africa in Ondiri – Wednesday 11th January 2023
iServe ministry invited me to speak to their missionaries who were about to be dispatched to various parts of the country to preach the Gospel and support the work of churches. The message was sexual integrity. We focused on this topic while expositing 1 st Thessalonians 5:1-5. We also talked about practical ways to live a pure life while serving in the Body of Christ.
PCEA Ngong – Friday 14th January 2023
The Presbyterian Church of East Africa Ngong parish held their first youth camp at Rongai. The venue was PCEA Rongai Booth Girls High School. They invited me to speak to their youth on living a sexually pure life. We had a great plenary with the youth. It was the last day of their camp. I was honoured to have crowned it.
PCEA Kasarani – Saturday 15th January 2023
The Presbyterian Church of East Africa Kasarani parish invited me for their fun day out at Karura forest. The fun day was for the teenagers who were on holiday break. The day began at Karura Gardens with a talk on living a sexually pure life. The session was interactive and the youth really paid attention. We had a session of healing and forgiveness. Some of the teenagers cried as I prayed for them and as they forgave their parents who had wounded them. I prayed over those who were fatherless. A few youth came to speak to me afterwards concerning with personal questions. It was a fruitful day. The day ended with a walk at Karura forest. I did not join them for the walk as I had an afternoon counselling session with two parents.
Deliverance for K – Tuesday 17th January 2023
A young man by the name K came for inner healing and restoration. K had been severely wounded by his parents through a cycle of verbal and physical abuse. He had his mother slap his face severally and his father kick him and step on his neck while he was on the ground a few times. He had endured the abuse for long without resistance. The physical abuse went on for years until he was an adult and stood his ground. He has a strained relationship with both his parents. Mos of his memories as a child involve being verbally abused and being beaten for no cause. His parents had a very violent and abusive marriage and they took out their frustration on the children. His coping mechanism was to rebel and live a promiscuous life. However, it did not bring him satisfaction. He came to the end of his rope and he needed to get his life in order. We had a great session of healing where he forgave his parents. He said he felt relief for the first time in his life. He had never had anyone give him a listening year; that in itself was healing for him.
Deliverance for O – Tuesday 17th January 2023
A man by the name O came for inner healing and restoration. O was feeling stuck in his life. He had gone through life without mentors and a terrible relationship with his father. He was feeling that he had nothing to show for his life and was without direction. I prayed with O over a few areas of sin in his life. He repented in prayer and committed to turn away from them. I then helped him craft a vision board for his life to help him get back on track. The vision board was to help him take stock of six areas of his life: Spiritual maturity, intellectual growth, mental stability, physical fitness, emotional intelligence, and financial success. I will be meeting him later after he has crafted the board.
Deliverance for M – Wednesday 18th January 2023
A man by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M was carrying bitterness from friends and family who had betrayed him. He humbled himself in the session, forgave his offenders, released the pain, and blessed them, according to the scriptures. M was also struggling being understood. He discovered that he had a prophetic gift and had nobody to direct him. His knowledge of the scriptures gave him some direction, however he was struggling with Christian community. He had predicted many things that had come to pass. He had made some enemies in the process and it cost him some relationships. We connected very well, and he felt at home. I gave him wisdom on how to handle his gift and encouraged him to remain in the scriptures.
Deliverance for W – Wednesday 18th January 2023
A woman by the name W came for inner healing and restoration. W had been having a struggling marriage. Her husband advised her to come see me. We had a series of meetings, and this was the penultimate one. She has been making good progress in her healing. In her own words, after the session, she admitted, “I feel so light.” She had many burdens of unforgiveness and guilt that she was carrying. We also discovered that’s he has a gift of discernment of spirits. I have set aside some time to train her on the proper and biblical use of her spiritual gift.
Deliverance for M – Friday 20th January 2023
A woman by the name M came for inner healing and restoration. M had endured severe emotional wounds from her father and mother. She had been harbouring pain from a few relationships as well. She was skeptical about healing bust she came onboard by faith. She began the healing journey and forgave her offenders wholeheartedly. We are still set for another session with M.
Deliverance for K – Monday 23rd January 2023
A man by the name K came for inner healing and restoration. K had experienced two heartbreaks and had developed a cynicism towards relationships. It led him to living a colourful lifestyle which accompanied itself with several relationship wounds. He was also harbouring pain from his father. He submitted himself to the healing process and we had a great session that left him relieved. We are still set for another session with K.
Deliverance for G – Monday 23rd January 2023
Later in the afternoon, a woman man by the name G came for inner healing and restoration. We have been talking G through a number of sessions. We concluded that she needed the deliverance session. She obliged and we commenced with the forgiveness list. G had experienced deep betrayal from friends and family. She was struggling to offload the pain but she succeeded. We are also set for another session with her in the next few weeks.
Deliverance for J – Thursday 26th January 2023
A woman by the name J had her inner healing and restoration via call with me on this day. She lives out of town. I was set to visit her and her husband and take them both through the session. However, things did not go as planned and we had the primary session on forgiveness via phone. J had been betrayed by the church. They had mistreated her family and had spread some rumours about her father, who had become incapacitated to serve, due to an accident. She was deeply hurt by the rumours and mostly by how her father had been disposed when he was unwell. They treated him like the corporate world. She went through a phase of rebellion against the church and it left her with many wounds and hurt. She eventually came around to forgiving her offenders and reconciling with some of them. We are still set for another session with J.

A young man by the name A came for inner healing and restoration. A had been troubled by a relationship that was draining him emotionally. He was also battling with sexual immorality, after having slept with a number of women. He was very repentant in the session and experienced a personal revival. I am helping him in his relationship so that he can make the right decision for his life.
MINISTRY UPDATES
We have innovated a new board game. We are calling it “Logos: The Ultimate Bible Board Game.” Logos is an idea that started in 2017. Over the years, while doing youth ministry, we noticed a few gaps in the mission field. From a general observation, biblical illiteracy seemed to be on a steady increase, especially among urban youth and teens. Some had access to the scriptures but struggled to draw out their power for everyday living. Our time in the mission field has proven this fundamental truth to be solid- that intimacy with the scriptures is a vital weapon in a believer’s struggle against sin and pursuit of righteousness. We have given the people we have ministered to statistics on the benefit of scripture consumption and even taught them how to do a personal quiet time. But nothing has driven the point home like the charades game on the Bible that we started giving in 2017. With time, I developed the game into something more challenging that would spur individuals to know their Bible better and have competitive fun at the same time. I borrowed a few ideas from some popular board games we know and made our own unique version. After several test groups and feedback notes, we finally came up with LOGOS. Logos is a Greek Word that means God’s divine revelation. We have a board, a maximum of five teams, a timer and an explosion of fun that will make you want to really rev your Bible knowledge engines. It is a great resource for family devotions, hangouts with friends, holiday plans, church retreats, youth camps, and game nights. Logos is available for 4900 KES. You can get your game by sending 4,900.00/= to M-Pesa Paybill Number: 204 634 Account: Logos
