Family Update

December ended with major camps outside Nairobi. The children have enjoyed the holiday. We have ended
the year very well.

Life Mission Christian Church – Friday 1st December 2023

I was invited by Bishop John Kaberere to speak at the national conference of Life Mission Christian Church (LMCC). The conference was held at LMCC Naivasha. I preached to the entire congregation on the subject Redeeming Broken Families. I then spoke to the youth on the subject of Sexual Purity. It was a refreshing time.

Chrisco Thika Camp – Saturday 2nd December 2023

I was invited by Chrisco Church Thika for their annual youth camp that was held at Maragua. I spoke on the subject of healing from parental wounds and preparing for marriage. The healing session bore a lot of fruit. Several young people wakjed forward to forgive their parents and to let go of their pain and bitterness.

Gospel Revival Centre Ngara – Saturday 2nd December 2023

I was invited by Pastor Isaiah Nyakoe for a Soirée at Grace Revival Centre, Ngara. The event was a dinner setup with conversations surrounding choosing a life partner. We had a great interactive session with the youth. Many of their standards in choosing a life partner were purified by the scriptures.

Sex and Intimacy at Mamlaka Hill Chapel- Ruaka – Sunday 3rd December 2023

Our home church, Mamlaka Hill Chapel Ruaka invited Turi and I to speak to the members of the premarital class and the marriage solemnization class on the subject of sexual intimacy in marriage. Pastor Judy Mathenge hosted us. We had a great interactive discussion on the bedroom matter. The feedback was also great.

Premarital Class Season 9 Finale – Sunday 3rd December 2023

We held the final session of the season 9 premarital class. This season hosted more than 70 couples from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, UK and Germany. The feedback from the class has been great. We have decided to lengthen the class to 12 weeks. Some topics require to be split into two. The couples already have testimonies of weddings. We are planning to have the retreat in February 2024.

Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) Moi’s Bridge Youth Camp – 5th to 8th December 2023

Pastor John Wachira invited me to be the main speaker at the KAG Moi’s Bridge Youth Camp. The camp was held at Tongaren, Bungoma County. The camp attracted more than 300 youth from the western Kenya region. The theme of the camp was sexual purity. We had more than 150 youth give their lives at Tongaren. On Thursday I drove to Trans Nzoia county and ministered at another KAG youth camp. This camp was bigger. I preached the gospel and we had a huge harvest of about 400 youth give their lives to Christ.

Loitoktok Full Gospel Youth Camp – 5th to 8th December 2023

Bishop Moses Kariuki of Full Gospel Church Loitoktok invited me to be the main speaker in their annual youth camp. The youth camp attracted more than 300 youth. The youth camp was also a combination of youth from Loitoktok and those from Narok. I preached eight sermons this week. We had eight people give their lives to Christ. We also had two repentance and healing services. We exorcised about six people and had deliverance sessions for countless more.

Deliverance for E – Tuesday 19th December 2023

A young woman by the name E came for inner healing and restoration. E was harbouring the pain of betrayal from family and friends. She was also hurting from several men who had sexually abused her. She struggled with the session, but we guided her through the scriptures. She submitted to the prayer session and she felt a lot of reprieve.

TESTIMONIES

Good evening, Pastor. Today marks exactly one week since I accepted Jesus to be part of me. I must say I am enjoying. I don’t know what exactly I am enjoying but I feel there is a change in me. – Jane I led Jane to Christ over the phone. I shared the gospel with her and she repented and received Christ.
