On stage with Waturi

We also had a great prayer session. The new books will arrive in a few weeks. We are happy with the work that Oasis has done.

Kenya Assemblies of God National Youth Conference – 11th-13th April 2022

I ministered with the Kenya Assemblies of God team in their Kitale Impact 2022 conference. Pastor Kihu Mwangi brought droves of youth from all over the country to hear the fully authentic message of the Gospel as taught in the Bible, learn how to study the Bible effectively (courtesy of CBR -Consistent Bible Reading), learn how to minister the Gospel to people of other faiths, gain skills on handling money, saving and investing, and preparing for healthy Gospel-centered marriages. Amidst fuel shortage challenges, we remained strong and focused on the task. Here are a few moments from the conference.

This young man in the centre in the picture below is called Charles. He came to me asking for a number 14 spanner. My mechanic had conveniently left his number 14 in my car last week. This sparked a conversation. Wycliffe King’ori (on the right) and I shared the Gospel with the man. He was convicted. He put his tools down and gave His life to Christ.

I arrived in Kitale late in the night because I had been queueing for fuel. I had had no sleep. It was 3:30am. I fell sleep while driving and veered off the road. I hit a huge rock and it dented my rim. I learned not to drive when tired. It’s not worth it. The only reason I couldn’t stop by the side the road and sleep is because it was very dark and I was the only car on a lonely road. I left Nairobi in good time. I fuelled in good time. But the Rubis where I fuelled put adulterated fuel in my car. My car engine knocked and stole several hours of my journey to Kitale. The adulterated fuel killed half my nozzles and some of my engine coils. I had to fuel again in a 2 hour queue. My broken engine from the adulterated fuel finished the clean full tank fuel by Eldoret. I had to use my reserve in my 20 litre can as I queued for more fuel in Eldoret at 3:00 am. I then got a puncture in the middle of the night. I stopped to rest in the first town I could but continued since I was the conferences opening speaker the next day.

While in Kitale, there was plenty of fuel in a particular station, but the attendants were hoarding it and were insisting that we pay cash and not Mpesa. When we told them we had no cash, they told us to send the money to a private phone number. Of course we refused. They had removed all the Mpesa placards. They only yielded and gave us the Mpesa Paybill when we threatened to leave without paying for the fuel they put in our cars.

Deliverance for T – Tuesday 19th April 2022

A man by the name T came for inner healing and restoration. T had been battling with an addiction to pornography and masturbation. He got married and assumed the problem would go away. It did not. It escalated into adultery with several women. When he met me he was broken and tired of the sin. He demonstrated significant progress since we talked; at the time of our meeting he had been sexually clean for weeks and was enjoying the new feeling. We went through the inner healing session and he felt fully restored.

Deliverance for B – Wednesday 20th April 2022
